Bernardo, a reckless but obstinate Argentinian teenager, refuses to believe that a plague is threatening him and his love Camilla. Only when she gets sick Bernardo begins to wonder where the truth lies. Doubtful until Camilla is urgently brought to the hospital, Bernardo eventually accepts to hear the truth: what kills everyone isn't a plague, but the effects of a compulsive overuse of pesticides on the fields.
Taste Of The Fields is my last short film project, currently under pre-production.
Pictured as a horror film, the story reveals itself to be more political, with a clear statement again the overuse of chemicals in South America.
